Everything is Somewhere has been commissioned to map the extension for an established dairy unit. Again the land owner has recently acquired additional land which will need mapping and sub dividing into smaller paddocks as part of a "New Zealand Dairy System". In this case the land acquired hasn't been actively "farmed" for over 10 years so the land itself and hedges are all somewhat overgrown. A new field layout has been planned using GIS based on optimum field sizes. The landowner is in the process of extending the farm ring main and as part of ther work the new pipeline is being surveyed it. The survey includes the line (and top of) the pipe, all joints, junctions and feeds to troughs. In addition new cattle tracks are being planned and set out.

Once all the infrastrusture is complete the farm will be flown with a UAV.
