Everything is Somewhere has been commissioned to map the extension for an established dairy unit. The land owner has recently acquired additional land which will need mapping and sub dividing into smaller paddocks as part of a "New Zealand Dairy System". Firstly the additional land has been flown with a UAV to produce an orthomosaic to tie in with the existing farm. Next the new field layout will be established using GIS based on optimum field sizes. Once the layout is agreed the new fence lines will be surveyed in and pegged out.

In addition to field layout the maps include the route of new "cattle tracks" and the line for new water supplies together with the location of new troughs.
